  12. Recently purchased a Cardinal MVP288I modem w/v1.2 firmware.  I
  13. experience occasional problems uploading files to a local board at
  14. slower than expected speeds; downloads are comensurate with line
  15. speed.

  17. I've seen a few precautions about upgrading to the 1.4 flash ROM
  18. firmware.  My system is a 486-DX33 running vanilla Windows 3.11 over
  19. DOS 6.2.

  21. Should I, or shouldn't I upgrade?  I'd appreciate reports here or via
  22. EMail from users of Win31 who are happy or dissatisfied with the newer
  23. flash ROM.
