- Recently purchased a Cardinal MVP288I modem w/v1.2 firmware. I
- experience occasional problems uploading files to a local board at
- slower than expected speeds; downloads are comensurate with line
- speed.
-
- I've seen a few precautions about upgrading to the 1.4 flash ROM
- firmware. My system is a 486-DX33 running vanilla Windows 3.11 over
- DOS 6.2.
-
- Should I, or shouldn't I upgrade? I'd appreciate reports here or via
- EMail from users of Win31 who are happy or dissatisfied with the newer
- flash ROM.
